Simon Law

Simon is the principal director and consultant at Us+AI.

He brings over two decades of experience helping solve complex marketing challenges for local and global clients, turning strategic clarity into business growth. He leads independent work for big and small companies seeking a structured approach to growth and the cost-effective, human-first, adoption of AI.

For the past 15 years, he has held senior leadership positions within WPP companies, as Chief Strategy Officer & Executive Director. Prior to WPP, he worked at some of the best advertising, digital and marketing agencies on both sides of the Atlantic - including Goodby Silverstein, TBWA, and Saatchi & Saatchi - giving him a depth of experience across both B2B and B2C brands. In that time, he built and led high-performing strategy teams and worked with famous brands as well as both start-ups and lesser-known brands.

Throughout his career, Simon has seized every opportunity to learn new technologies and expand into new areas of strategy, growing from Creative/Brand Strategy work, to Data Consultancy, to Digital Experience, to Customer Experience, then Integrated Marketing and bigger Transformation projects. In the past 2 years, that curiosity has been focused on AI, initially through WPP Open (the WPP AI team/tools) and then through study/training on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and wider AI courses to understand Agentic workstreams and generative process.

Since 2020, he has been on the UK board for Effie Awards - as an Effie UK Council Member alongside senior clients & agency leaders. Prior to this, he was the Chair of the UK Effie Steering Committee from 2016 to 2020. He’s also taught and spoken widely on marketing insights, brand trust, data, marketing effectiveness, and B2B transformation.
